Q: Do you offer individual health insurance programs?
A: Yes, we offer individual health insurance through three major carriers; Conseco Medical Insurance Company, Celtic Life Insurance Company and Fortis Benefits. These plans are not available to Massachusetts residents!
Q: Is a medical exam required when applying for this coverage?
A: In general, a medical exam is not required unless applying for a preferred rate classification.
Q: What is the difference between a PPO and HMO?
A: A Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) is a network of hospitals and physicians that the insurance carriers have negotiated with for their services to the policyholders.
The Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) is an enclosed structure that houses all the medical personnel and services that it provides for its members.
Q: Do you provide health insurance on a group basis?
A: Yes, we are brokers for Blue Cross of Rhode Island and we can provide coverage for our business clients and their employees!
